Privacy policy

You can use Clipsavo without an account and without giving us your name or email. If you create an account, we keep only what the account needs to work.

Without an account

• The link you paste: used to fetch the video, not kept.
• The downloaded file: stored on the server temporarily so you can save it, and deleted automatically within about an hour.
• The daily limit: we count your downloads with a keyed code derived from your IP address that changes every day and can't be turned back into the address; it's cleared within two days. For statistics we keep only the network part of the address (e.g. 203.0.113.0), the platform and the quality.
• Your choices (language, light or dark mode): saved in your browser.

With an account

• Account data: your email, your name if you add one, and your password in hashed form (we can't read it).
• Download history: the video title, link and quality, so you can go back and download again. You can remove any entry.
• Activity log: sign-in, sign-out and settings changes, with only the network part of your IP and your browser/OS type — for account security. Deleted after 180 days.
• Payments: the receipt you upload, the transfer method and reference, kept for accounting.
• Deleting your account removes your email, name and download history. Payment records are kept for accounting only.

Services we use

• Ads: the site may show ads from ad networks that use cookies or browser data under their own policies. Pro members see no ads.
• Analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and no personal tracking.
• Email: password-reset emails are sent through an email provider.

We don't sell your data.
