Steps
- Open the Reel in InstagramTap the Share icon (the paper plane).
- Copy the linkChoose Copy link.
- Paste it into ClipsavoTap Paste and pick a quality.
- Save the videoThe download starts on your device right away.
Reels and multi-video posts
Clipsavo works with Reels and public video posts. If a post has more than one video, each one is listed separately so you can choose the one you want.
What can't be downloaded from Instagram?
- Private accounts.
- Stories, since they usually require logging in.
- Deleted or restricted content.
On iPhone: where is the Reel saved?
It's saved to the Downloads folder in the Files app. To move it to Photos, open it, tap the Share button, then Save Video.
💡 On a computer: type clipsavo.com/ in front of the Reel link in the address bar and press Enter to start right away.
Common problems and fixes
- Link not supported: make sure you copied the link to the video itself, not to the profile or the home page.
- Video is private or needs a login: we only download public content, so videos from private accounts can't be downloaded.
- Slow download: the time depends on the video's size and your internet speed. Pick a lower quality for a smaller, faster file.
- Daily limit reached: the limit resets every day, and a free account raises it.
