Both work the same way, so it doesn't matter whether the link uses the old twitter.com or the new x.com.
Why are there several qualities?
X stores every video in several sizes. Higher quality is sharper but bigger; a lower one is better if your storage or data plan is limited.
Twitter GIFs
X stores GIFs as short MP4 videos, so you download them just like any other video.
💡 On a computer: type clipsavo.com/ in front of the post link in the address bar and press Enter.
Common problems and fixes
- Link not supported: make sure you copied the link to the video itself, not to the profile or the home page.
- Video is private or needs a login: we only download public content, so videos from private accounts can't be downloaded.
- Slow download: the time depends on the video's size and your internet speed. Pick a lower quality for a smaller, faster file.
- Daily limit reached: the limit resets every day, and a free account raises it.
