Which quality should I pick?
- 1080p: the sharpest picture, bigger file.
- 720p: a good balance between sharpness and size.
- 480p or lower: for limited storage or small data plans.
Each quality shows its approximate file size, so it's easy to choose. Qualities up to 1080p are free, and up to 4K with Pro if the video is available in it.
Save the audio of lectures and podcasts
You can save just the audio (MP3) of lectures, lessons and podcasts. Audio-only isn't available for songs and music videos.
YouTube Shorts
Paste a Shorts link like any other video, and it's saved vertically in its original dimensions.

Common problems and fixes
- Link not supported: make sure you copied the link to the video itself, not to the profile or the home page.
- Video is private or needs a login: we only download public content, so videos from private accounts can't be downloaded.
- Slow download: the time depends on the video's size and your internet speed. Pick a lower quality for a smaller, faster file.
- Daily limit reached: the limit resets every day, and a free account raises it.
