Can you download videos from Pinterest?
Yes, as long as the Pin is public and contains a video. You download it by link: copy the Pin's link, paste it into Clipsavo and choose a quality. Clipsavo saves the video file Pinterest serves as is, without adding anything to it.
Why can't I download a video from Pinterest?
- The Pin is an image, not a video: Clipsavo is for video and audio, so image Pins aren't supported for now.
- You copied the link to a board or profile instead of the Pin itself.
- The Pin isn't public, or it has been deleted or restricted.
Pinterest video download in HD and 4K
You get the best quality available for that Pin. Qualities up to 1080p HD are free, and Pro unlocks up to 4K — but only when the original Pin was uploaded in 4K. Clipsavo can't add detail that isn't in the source video.
pin.it and pinterest.com links
The Pinterest app may give you a short pin.it link instead of a full one. You don't need to open it first; paste it as it is. Full pinterest.com/pin/ links work the same way.
Download Pinterest videos on iPhone
Open clipsavo.com in Safari, paste the link and pick a quality. The video is saved to the Downloads folder in the Files app. To move it to Photos, open the video in Files, tap the Share button, then Save Video.
Download Pinterest videos on Android
Open the site in Chrome, paste the link and pick a quality. The file goes to your Downloads folder and shows up in your gallery. You can also install Clipsavo from Chrome's menu so it appears in the Share menu — no APK or app store needed.
Download Pinterest videos on PC
Open the Pin in your browser, copy the link from the address bar and paste it on the site. Or type clipsavo.com/ in front of the Pin link in the address bar and press Enter to start right away.
💡 Only download what you have the right to use, and respect the creator's rights.
Common problems and fixes
- Link not supported: make sure you copied the link to the video itself, not to the profile or the home page.
- Video is private or needs a login: we only download public content, so videos from private accounts can't be downloaded.
- Slow download: the time depends on the video's size and your internet speed. Pick a lower quality for a smaller, faster file.
- Daily limit reached: the limit resets every day, and a free account raises it.
